A new group join the after school club at Langley Park School for Girls. I love a new class and seeing a lot of creativity coming out. During this year we will learn to up cycle clothing and embellish them, pattern and sew and work with commercial patterns. Please check out our Facebook page for the new pictures of these classes. We also wish good luck to the students that are finishing this term.
Work has begun for the new line up of adult courses. This year we have made a wonderful line up of dresses and tops, skirts a patchwork throw and several totes (including a very sweet laundry bag) aprons and of course the very popular cushions. "Just a few words to say that my Lauren has enjoyed learning to sew from the simple basics and is now progressing to more complicated things. This is an ideal way for children to learn to sew. My daughter is looking forward to the next term when they will be making an item of clothing to wear. I would highly recommend this class to anyone, its a shame there's not more of them."
